Well I'll replace Irish with Australians so I know what I'm talking about

I mean the Aussies drink like alcohol like water, and drinking is accepted and encourage there, so does that make them alcoholics?

No, but it makes us a country with huge alcohol related problems - not only domestic violence, sexual assaults, underage (and 'legal') binge drinking, road accidents...but also *immense* health problems. It really is quite epidemic here.

Not only here - a 16 yo boy died in New Zealand yesterday, it seems directly from drinking.

Schoolboy could have been drinking vodka, family says - National - NZ Herald News

Does it really matter if he was an alcoholic or not, bl4me?
