I was painfully shy a good portion of my life.
The further I get along in my recovery, the harder it is to get me to shut up!
Neither of my parents are alcoholic, but my dad is an ACOA (lost both his alcoholic parents within a year of each other while he was in high school), I have a 32 year old daughter who's alcoholic/addict, I was married to an alcoholic/addict, and I am a recovering alcoholic/addict as well as codependent.
