Yep. Just because you take away the substance, doesn't mean the behaviour changes. In many cases, our addicts have had this problem for years and years, so the behaviour becomes second nature. I think mine literally does not know how to live life without being dishonest about everything, because she's been doing it for so long. It's perfectly normal to her.
