Thought I would give an update. I just checked the calendar and it's been 77 days. I still read here
everyday and it really helps. I know, I should post more often
Anyway, overall things have been good and getting better. The other day, I had to drive by the bar I used to hang out at, while on the way to the store, and when I got home, I realized I hadn't even thought about stopping!! I had driven by and not even noticed it. The first few days/weeks I couldn't even get on the same road without it crossing my mind. So, it does get better. That's not to say I don't ever think about drinking... not even close, but it is getting much less frquent and the urges less intense.
