Hi folks,
it's not always easy for me to share what is going on inside, so hopefully I wont be upsetting anyone by including this poem of mine..
nothing more dreadful
nothing more cruel
than the crushing need
to have another one
or maybe two to drive away
the desperate feelings evoked
by the arrival of a brand new day
of living a lie of hoping to die
thus escaping the reality
that rushes me towards
assured insanity or death
and always the wanting
always the fear
the next will be the last
but what the hell nothing does
so perhaps just one more
or two or three is all I need
to eradicte the bloody past
and the strangers face at the door.
