new member and just went to first al anon meeting today...
I am wondering if this is an active forum as I am finding it hard to locate any current or active forums on the subject of alcoholism.
I hope to meet people such as myself who have grown up with alcoholic parents or is living with or loving an alcoholic.
I grew up with two alcoholic parents one of which died from the disease. Now the man of my dreams is an alcoholic and it devistates me.
Just looking for people to share thoughts with and for some support. I am here also to serve others for support and assistance the best that I can. I enjoy helping others as it is what we are all here for.
