If the steak needs to be marinated prior to cooking, buy a better cut of steak!
I'm a recovering alcoholic, and a pretty good cook. I liked to cook with wine in the past and some liqours, but not vodka. I have been able to enjoy all of my favorite recipes without alcohol now. I don't want to get in the habit of buying it or having it in my home again.
