I woke up thinking of you today. Nothing I say can make it any easier or less painful.
I cannot think of a single thing to say that might lighten the too heavy load you carry today. I have sat here speechless for awhile, wanting to acknowledge you and this day, but dumbfounded for anything useful to come to mind. Finally, it comes to me, please be ever so gentle with yourself and do anything, whatever, you may need today. You don't need to take care of anyone else today, just you.
