Trish, I hesitated to post here. I hope you don't take this wrong.
I encourage anyone to follow dreams. I did. When I went into art I was scared as sh!t. I wanted to do it ever since I was little and I kept shooting myself down. I had absolutely no doubts about me wanting to do art, but I did have a lot of doubts as to whether or not I could handle it/do it.
You sounded so excited when you were talking about going into graphics. When you found out what was to be expected the doubts surged in.
Honey, you know I care about you, but your mind has changed twice in the past two weeks. You have time to figure this out. Honestly.
I’m not pushing you to do graphics…I hope that doesn’t seem like what I’m trying to do. I’m concerned that you’re changing your mind so much.
It took me 7 years to get a four year degree. I was pre-computer science, then pre-psychology, then general studies, and finally fine arts. I wasted three years because I couldn’t make up my mind. Been there, done that.
Whatever you do please take care of yourself.
