If you're typing it in, make sure you have two complete brackets anono (no spaces)
[ QUOTE] text in here [ /QUOTE]
or....just highlight the text you want to quote, cut and paste into yr reply, and then click the little speech bubble in the toolbar
and it'll automatically 'quote' the highlighted text for you
