non alcoholics get bored too but they dont go and get pissed!! Its immature and will gain nothing except a hangover and remorse
It will be worse this time. It gets worse never better!!
Whatever is going on for you needs to be overcome without the crutch of alcohol. Those feelings will be there next time too if you dont do things differently. There is a number of things you can do.

Have a long bubble bath
Go for a walk
catch up on some stuff you have been putting off
make something nice to eat
play good music
call a friend
check out an AA meeting
