The first sign that I had of Delirium Tremens (DT's) was anxiety attacks. Later it progressed to shaky hands, cold sweats, memory loss and finally hallucinations.
These symptoms did not seem to be related at first but I eventually recognized that they always occured 12 - 18 hours after having my last drink.
