hendershot A therapist can be a help, I think. As Joe said, the most important thing is probably to get somebody who has a lot of experience with addiction/alcoholism. There are lots of them out there that just don't. You need a compliment to your recovery, not someone who will hinder it unknowingly.
Thanks. I'm going to see an 82 year-old Christian counselor this morning. I've only been to see this lady once, and that was just to tell her about my problems. Today, hopefully, we can start taking some action on these issues. She claims to have alot of alcohol experience(but not the kind I have)....
