Decided on a whim this morning to do some abdominal exercises with weights, went to the YMCA.

On my way back home I realized there was an NA meeting at a nearby church, I decided on a whim to stop in.

Our area is having a "Unity Weekend' camping gig this weekend and there was only one (1) other person at this NA meeting.

We talked about recovery for over an hour, probably one of the most interesting meetings I have ever attended.

The other one (1) person there was a psychiatrist MD and throughout that hour or so I truly learned that alcoholism and drug addiction have NO professional boundaries - no one is 'immune'. In the past I have tended to believe that psychiatrists never get certain ailments, because they 'fix' the ailments in others... but the only real qualifications for the 'disease' is simply being human. No one is 'exempt'.

Great meeting.
