Although I've never heard of anyone having alcohol be a direct result of joint/bone pain, nothing would surprise me. Alcohol has done some horrible things to our bodies. I'd check with your doctor ASAP to make sure there isn't something else going on.

I do know that once we stop abusing our bodies with alcohol and other drugs, we tend to start feeling things that we hadn't felt before because we numbed our bodies for so long. And for alot of us, our addiction began many years ago and we forget that we have gotten older! (as much as we hate to admit it )
