I quit in 2005. I C/T in four days. I use the same concept that I used when I quit abusing drugs. I admitted that I were powerless over my cigarette addiction, that my life had become unmanageable.
Today, when the urge to light up. I say the serenity prayer. My higher power grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference. So far so good.
