I am glad that you have decided that you want to stop drinking and live a sober life. I think when you stop drinking for a couple of weeks, that's great, but for me, I needed to make a lot of other changes in my life, or it wouldn't have worked. I couldn't be around people who were drinking alcohol for quite a long time after I stopped drinking. I also removed some toxic people who were in my life. It's not unusual to find that other people don't understand how difficult and important it is, for you to remain sober. You will find lots of support here.
