bovine, you're awesome and I really appreciate everyone's honesty on this topic.
I put on 30lbs right after I sobered up. My foods of choice were doughnuts, cookies, peanut butter, and frozen meals since I couldn't motivate myself to cook.
3 weeks ago I weighed in at 196 and 5'10". I went on Weight Watchers and I'd lost 12lbs this past Monday. That night and yesterday I had a little bit of a "relapse" on pizza and birthday cake but I'm back on track today. My goal is 170, that was my pre-sobriety weight and I looked pretty good in spite of being seriously unhealthy.
