I got fat from drinking, too. I was never one of those skinny drunks. I don't know what I weigh now but it's probably around 140? 145 - ? I'm 5'9". When I was drinking I was way up there - I had the booze belly and everything. SoooOoooo pretty...really helps with the self esteem at a time when...I had NONE.
It didn't fall off, either. Well...some of it did. The rest I had to diet off.
I always envied those skinny ones, too. I thought that if I had to be an alcoholic, did I have to be a fat one? The answer was apparently YES.
