I find this one of the hardest things especially when it is my husband doing the drinking. I did have a Christmas Eve party at my house and I was ok not good but ok. It is getting better. I am at almost 7 months sober now and I do want to still do some of the things I did before. I am contemplating going back to Vegas in the next couple of months. The first time I was there was over 10 years ago and that probably started my drinking career. But I love the food, shows and the gambling so I am going to give it a try.
I think the worst might be a wedding but fortunating I have not had to attend one yet. I think it is all about getting more time in sober.
