I think Sobriety B-day's are important for newcomers to see that it can be done.
There was a recent thread on here and it was pointed out that it's just a date on a calander. I agree with that.
Every day I ask myself .. am I in good standing? .. am I living my life on a spiritual basis? am I helping other alcoholics? am I of service to AA?
Today I can say yes to all, and that can be done with 23 years, 5 years, 1 year, 6 months, 3 months.
