OK...gotta take a deep breath and relax! False Alarm! Sis called (in tears), "I'm not calling anyone else to tell them Mommy's dying. She's up, her teethe are in, she's smiling, eating, laughing...even has lipstick on. Here, Mom...say 'Hello' to Rae." I hear a feeble, but perfectly audible, "Hello."
I tell Sis, "Isn't this typical? That stubborn old lady!" If you knew our Mom, you'd know this is not unusual...she always did "march to a different drummer". Why would she stop now? She'll "go" when she's darn good and ready.
So, everything is on hold for now. I have a feeling, when the time comes, it will be "badda bing, badda boom". But, I'm still planning on trying to make it to see her over the weekend.
