Thanks everyone...Something really cool happened today at work. The other day I was talking to a co-worker about how I quit drinking . Today his wife, who works with me as well came up to me and praised me for quitting. It Turns out the both of them quit drinking as well 3 years ago and they went to AA meetings. They offered me some support.

That was really cool to me.
Sober is the way to go so if anyone at this sight is having a hard time quitting, I hope this post helps.
Its really nice to talk to people who are with you as far as being sober--we all know there are plenty of people we know who want to drink. "hey lets go to the bar"
screw that--we dont need it!

on a scale of 1 to 10---10 being easy

the last 40 days I would say it was a 9 as far as staying sober.

Why not a 10---people I know who wanted to go to a bar--But I didnt
Every 1/2 mile on a normal daily drive to work--There is a friggin party store.

Why a 9-- This web sight.
The way I feel in the morning and throughout the day.
The money I save.
How happy it makes my family that I am not drinking.
How happy it makes me feel that I quit.

Once I stop paying attention to the party stores and when people I know realize I quit and mean it.
It will be a 10

Anyone out there having a big problem quiting---Just dig down deep inside yourself and do it.
You will feel the the good thing that come from being sober.More and more as the days go by----40 today and in 40 more days it will be 80.
