One of my favorite freedoms of being sober is being able to stop worrying about alcohol related troubles. I don't worry about driving drunk and causing injury or death and getting a dui. I don't worry about spending money meant for other things. I don't worry about waking up sick and hungover every day. I don't worry about losing my self respect or the respect of my kids. I don't worry about not taking good care of my dogs due to being drunk or hungover.
So many things I don't have to worry about these days - I love it! Sobriety is so worth the effort of maintaining it!
