Hey all you addicts and alkies out there
Just wanted to give an update on 11 days in my "sober" skin right now. I'm really feeling a bit of hope this morning and soooo appreciative that I'm outta the bottle and living some of life right now!
Some moments have really sucked and was on the verge of throwing in the towel and just saying the heck with it. But I didn't and got through it. Read your posts here and stayed connected and knew I'm not alone!
So far, 1 b-day party for a family member, Thanksgiving, my birthday (and still more to go) in 11 days. I don't feel the false hope that I have this licked, but I do believe that sobriety is better than the bottomless pit I swam in for so long!
