Not that sure I'd want us to Nands, sure I'm proud to be Scottish but I quite like to be Scottish as part of UK.
Went to Stirling Castle, ok it was free to get in but I spent £30 in the book shop.
Not an expert RK but I quite like reading about our history.
If you get the chance, visit Culloden, very eerie and makes you think, from my surname I'd have been a Jacobite but going from where I live and you even more so, we could well have been on the Redcoat ( supposidly English side but when you look into it a lot of the troops were Scots ) army.
Bought a Nigel Tranter trilogy today about Robert Bruce and another of his books about William Wallace. Recommend Tranter as an author, he writes about historical events but puts ficticious characters in as well to make the books great to read.
