I don't have a fenced yard and have a tie off for each of them, but I usually let them play for a bit before or after I put them on their ties to go to the bathroom. They were wrestling and chasing when the girl walked by the house catching me by suprise. Sienna charged her, barking and acting fierce and bit her on the leg. I yelled at her and she ran back towards me and I put her on the tie. She's been known to bite ankles, especially kids, and I should have been more aware. I told her mom I wouldn't let her off the tie anymore and would supervise at all times when she was out there, but that didn't seem to help.
