Even though this isn't an AA board, I still consider "the only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking" as a good enough reason for anyone to be here.
Don't worry about quitting forever or even for 30 days. . . that just sounds way too daunting. Just do it for today and don't worry about tomorrow.
Once tomorrow gets here, it will be today anyway so you can just do it for another "today". And who knows, you might not even want to drink when tomorrow turns into today.
So how's that for a little bit of confusion?
