I am recovering from addiction, but my biggest hurdle was recovery from being a huge codie (codependent). I started reading on the friends/family substance abuse forum and it has helped my codie-ness tremendously.
Whatever forum you want to post...go ahead! There is a ton of support here and some fantastic people to walk with you.
Glad that you are going to meetings...you'll talk when you're ready. For me, it took a little prodding, but once I opened my mouth, I don't think I ever shut up
