I've only been to one of those and it was several years back. I don't think I stayed because it was in a small room and
everyone was smoking. I'm extremely sensitive to nicotine and just couldn't handle it. I'm sure they're not all like that, plus now there are laws against smoking indoors. I didn't realize that they were more accepting of non-spiritual recovery. I believe I bought the book about 10 years ago, but at the time didn't realize that there were meetings that went with it.
