The car breaking down happened for a reason. Maybe his HP knew that he was better off back in jail, that he was just not ready for the outside world. I know how frustrating it is when our addicted children make bad choices, but we have to remember we are talking about the addict brain. I am glad you can rest a bit now and let go of the worry.
