I'm new here
Hi all,
Just joined SR today. I'm 55 years old and have been a private drinker for as long as I can remember. This is the first sober day I've had since my last sober day a couple of months ago. I seem to be doing this one day at a time, every two months or so. This has been a vicious circle and it is time to end it. I've spent most of the day lurking this forum. I think this place will help me and I hope to be of help to others here, as soon as my thinking clears up a little more. I know what I’m in for in the coming days. Been here before. Feeling hopeful.
