I am so laughing at the thank-you thing! And like IO just said-it can so easily be misread but it's amazing how we can assume the worst some days.
Your post reminded me of a few weeks ago.The boards were fairly quiet and I decided to spend quite a bit of time responding to some newcomers with what I thought were really thoughtful, meaningful posts. Well, I checked a few hours later and not one single person had thanked me or said anything at all about what I'd said to them!How dare they?After all that time and energy I'd invested in them and everything?
I mentioned it to a friend of mine here who promply replied 'Oh-yeah.Happens to me sometimes too.I call it 'tumbleweed posting'. (what a great expression-LOL) I just post these days and don't expect people to always reply but if they do it's great!'
I thought that was a great attitude to have and one I should adopt!
