This list could go on and on but those are just a few of the things I can think of right now.

Personally, at the end of my drinking I was drinking two 30-packs of beer and a pint of 100 proof Hot Damn when I drank which was any time I was not at work. I could drink most any man or woman under the table. But I know of people who are alcoholics who would get drunk on a couple of glasses of wine.
Good points.

My health is what became an issue. No blackouts DUI's ect. I had one bout of pancreatitis that put me in the hospital over night. I have a high tolerance to pain and that **** was unbearable pain - 5 shots of morphine didn't completely ease it. I'm 43 and didn't expect that at my age. It sucked.
