Sounds ridiculous, but I've read a lot around here, that spouses have a hard time adjusting to the "new sober you." Unless of course, it was them that requested (or demanded) it in the first place. My husband just never realized how much I drank. Sometimes I'd finish most of a 6 pack before he got home, and then slyly drink the rest before he was even aware that there had been beer in the refridgerator! Yep - definitely an alcoholic behavior.
