Turtles are sooo cute. I had forty of 'em as a kid. Big brackish water pond. A monster to clean out every three days. But I took my responsibility with great stride and at the end of the season...I let the lil turtles go. All lived and thrived under my care.
These days....I don't see as many as when I was a kid.
Sandy lots have been paved over.
Cars go screaming by.
Kinda sad. But I'll always remember the joy the lil buggers gave me.
