We had three little baby slider turtles for awhile, their shells were about the size of quarter. One of them got sick and was making little coughing sounds, wouldn't eat and would hold his mouth open all the time. So I called around to about 10 different veternarians until I could find one that woud see him. So I took him in a little tiny cardboard jewlery box to this veterinarian.

It was comical because the doctor was a big buff muscle bound guy, and as he was holding litttle Farkus it looked ridiculously off balance. Anyway Farkus had an upper respiratory infection and I was sent home with seringes (sp) and antibiotic, that I had to administer. It was so sad giving him these injections everyday, I felt like a montster.

Farkus was well after the 7 days of injections. The three of them now live in a pond.

BTW lilbit - I love your good heart.
