Baby Turtles!!!!
Move over kitten lovers! For years I have been a baby turtle saver...
I stop in the middle of the road to let the momma diamond back terrapin lay her eggs. I get cheers and jeers over this, but I don't care.
I watched the garbage men run over a big momma out in front of my house. I ran out and scooped up the eggs she was gonna lay and placed them in the ground. My kids love the wild baby turtles and the excitement of waiting for the lil leathery eggs to hatch.
Have a pet turtle as a kid...and you will have a great respect for nature...and all her beautiful creatures out there.
