I Made 90 Days
At long last, I made 90 days. Yay me and my higher power!
I've been at this since the first of this year. I got 40 days twice, fell on my face twice, and then I really dove into AA. Got a great sponsor, worked the steps, went to well over 90 meetings in that time, continued to check in here at SR. I think the best thing I did was take phone numbers at AA meetings and really created a network of people I could call when I was feeling low or anxious. They were extremely helpful.
And of course, my higher power was the biggest help. When I turned my self-will over to him, very good things started to happen.
