I have no experience with IOP, but I can tell you that for me calling my sponsor or someone else in the program BEFORE I drank stopped me from drinking. IOP from what I have heard in most cases is a tremendous help for a lot of folks, it sure can not hurt, I never heard of any one getting to much recovery! LOL
