This site is really what got me kick-started Dreamchaser (in part), I found it out of sheer desperation and posted a few times whilst drinking. The support and encouragement I got from members here was second to none and now I'm achieving what I thought couldn't be done (almost 9 months now without alcohol).
It's great to see people on the same journey and making it, I really just posted this to let you guys know that you're not alone - I was really vulnerable in my first few weeks and uncertain about the future and if I could sustain it - most of us have been there, so we know how hard what you're doing is and we also know that it takes courage and persistence but that it definitely pays off.
You've got the rest of your lives to look forward to now, they will undoubtedly be much happier and longer lives - and you'll be free of all the fear, guilt and self-loathing that comes with drinking. Well done.
