I have had many days where I do not drink but I always knew that I would only last a week or a few days before going on a bender. Tried to convince myself for a long time that this was normal behaviour. This weekend was a nightmare and I drank until I couldn't anymore. Have an excrutiating hangover but working through it and going to a meeting each night this week.
