You are absolutely not being selfish. I know it is really difficult for parents, having been in the same situation myself, but it is part of our part of the illenss...the obsession with the addicted child. Unfortunately the "normal" kids often get left behind. I think the suggestions about changing the subject or not saying much but ummm, okay, I see may eventually send the message home a little. I htink this is a situation where "selective hearing" is beneficial. I'm sorry you are facing a bumpy period.
