I am new here to. I understand all too well about the shyness one has especially if you were before drinking.
I have been dealing with anxiety & social phobia since sobering up. Kind of like discovering 'who I really am'. I have also sought out a therapist to help me with this. Personally, I am tired of living in this 'Prison within my head', and really want to live my life without the liquid courage.
