Good for you for not getting any more pills. For a lot of people, once the acute memory of the withdrawals goes away, they start thinking "oh, just a little won't hurt...I'll stop before I get hooked". Have you thought about going to meetings?
I'm a recovering crack addict and I didn't have any physical withdrawals, but the mental was a different story. Having to deal with the financial/legal/career consequences have been tough, but thanks to a few f2f friends, and many people here, I've learned to deal with them without picking back up.
