I too felt strange in AA for awhile.
"Who were these weirdo people"?
And perhaps AA is not for you...I dunno.
The point is to find a way to quit and stay quit.
Did you use the meds from your doctor?
Did they help?
I am very glad you don't drive after drinking.
That's a huge plus....
