one of the best songs ever written. alas in 20 years i've been going to Bruce's shows I've never had it live
This song's about drug (dealing?); sex; and in the end the protagonist, Magic Rat, is left to suffer as he winds up "wounded, not even dead" - that's a bit like how i feel at the moment. fantastic sax solo towards the end.
