This is my first time ever
I really need to get some perspective if not advice. I've been married for 10 months now to an addict who started with food in his younger years, moved on to alcohol, and then gambling, but wont seek help. He goes to meetings once a week or so but hasn't gotten a sponsor and won't participate in the steps. Lately he has gotten more resistant to communication and refuses to "deal" with me when I need to talk. I know I need to talk to someone else and just be proactive for my sake and hope he eventually does it for himself but I'm afraid we won't make it much longer at this rate. Help!
