One of the greatest gifts of recovery for me is the ability to accept what is and have faith that acceptance will lead me to action appropriate to living my life well...in spite of what has been placed on my path today.
I cannot change what is, but I can change how I react to it and where I allow it to lead me. I can live in the problem as a victim, or I can live in the solution as a survivor. The choice is mine today, and for that I am grateful.
