How do i get past this?? I need support, I need people who know what I feel. But I am an atheist, and I always have been.
I'm an atheist and have been so since a tender age. You can get sober and not believe in god...people do so all the time, so don't be discouraged by any voices telling you otherwise. I don't do AA myself, but if there are other valuable things you're getting from the meeting, I'd just go and politely sit out the lord's prayer...kind of like how I do when I have dinner with my mom.
